Phase 4 -Event Delivery

On the day of the event, it is important the Steering Group and other members of the delivery team are present.  It is important to address:

  • Who is taking the lead/managing the guests/exhibitors?
  • Who will manage and at what time will set up occur?
  • Who will manage and at what time will break down occur? 
  • Are all the facilities requirements met - such as extension cords, tables, etc, are back ups or alternatives available?
  • Are external or student press invited?

Tasks & Timescales

 

To plan, organise, and implement a Green Travel programme will take approximately 6-8 weeks depending on resources and availability of facilities, exhibitors and students and staff. 

 

Considerations:

Does the steering group have enough time available to organise the event?

Are approvals and arrangements for the facilities going to require substantial amounts of time?
